Are pharmacists also concerned with nutrition? How can a single central venous access serve its purpose for over 10 years? Why is it that obese people can be malnourished?

This conference was held mainly for patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The lecturers we had invited from the leading gastroenterological clinics from all over the country wanted to present a complex approach to the issue of IBD.

The conference was organised as a part of the Appetising Convention. The specialists were trying to answer questions about the Short Bowel Syndrome and other malabsorption issues as well as caring for catheters and medication used in the nutritional therapy.

The conference which took place in the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Medicine Conference Centre was another chance to share the knowledge of nutritional therapy.
