Association
Intestinal Failure Patients Association “Apppetite for Life” [Stowarzyszenie ‘Apetyt na Życie”] is a countrywide organisation in Poland, uniting patients who suffer from digestive system diseases, particularly those dependent from enteral and parenteral nutrition and inflammatory bowel disease. We also welcome families of the patients, people working for the sake of the disease and all those, who embrace the objectives and rules governing the association. Our organisation has been established and registered in the National Court Register [Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy] in 2012. Its number is 0000409039. We currently unite nearly 200 members and naturally, we always hunger for more. In 2015 we have gained a status of a public benefit organisation. We are a young, rapidly expanding organisation set for ambitious goals we are not afraid to achieve them 🙂
Mission
Our mission is to help children and adults suffering from intestinal failure, undergoing nutrition therapies and those with inflammatory bowel disease. We strive not only for the improvement of their living and treatment standards but also conduct research and provide educational activities on this subject for both the patients and the general public.
